Accrington Acorn Primary Health Care Centre

Accrington Acorn is one of three buildings alongside Accrington Pals and Oak House Dental all completed within one month of each other costing East Lancashire PCT £17 million in total.

Diamond Interiors successfully furnished all three buildings.

Accrington Acorn Primary Health Care Centre is Hyndburn’s second major new community health centre and is now completed and fully operational.

The name Acorn was chosen following the time-honoured tradition that surrounds the name ‘Accrington,’ which is said  to mean ‘settlement round the oak trees.’

This health centre houses a wide range of health services over 3 floors. Although many of these services have moved from  other sites.
