Bacup Health Centre

Bacup Health Centre The new health centre in Bacup was completed in February 2005 and was developed under the Government’s LIFT initiative.

The £5 million development is located in a town centre conservation area where it replaced a derelict nineteenth century mill. The building combines the former health centre and a surgery in nearby Stacksteads to create a modern, fully DDA compliant health centre covering over 3000m².

Diamond Interiors were entrusted with furnishing the entire four floor building including all the waiting areas, training  rooms, staff rooms, storage areas, back offices and GP suites. The Bacup site was the first of three projects (including  Nelson and Darwen) that Diamond furnished as part of the East Lancashire £19.3 million building programme.
