Cheetham Hill’s new £5.1 million health centre opened for business in the summer of 2007 on the site of the old Portakabin housing the existing doctor’s surgery.
The project is part of the Manchester, Salford and Trafford (MaST) schemes designed to improve the primary care estate and improve access to health services in the area.
The new centre houses one of the largest pharmacies built in LIFT to date, and a full range of health services including podiatry, speech and language services, audiology, orthoptics, paediatrics, family planning and community nursing.
Diamond Interiors were entrusted with furnishing the entire building including all the waiting areas, training rooms, staff rooms, back offices and GP suites.
