Moorside Medical Centre, Oldham

The vision for this scheme was to build a new facility to bring together two GP practices, a dental unit and a pharmacy to serve the community at a local level. Moorside Medical Centre opened its doors to the public on 13 February 2006 and runs clinics including:

• School health young people’s drop in (School Nurses)
• Health visiting immunisation and vaccination, healthy eating and health promotion
• Family planning
• Ante-natal clinics
• District nursing clinics
• Podiatry
• Orthoptist service for children requiring vision testing or who have vision problems
• Speech and language therapy clinics.

Diamond Interiors were responsible for liaising with the client, producing CAD space plans and delivering and installing desking, seating and storage to the entire building.
