Diamond Interiors growing relationship with Wigan Borough Council has gone from strength to strength, after successfully installing state of the art flexible working initiatives in numerous offices as part of ’The new ways of working programme’ Diamond won the tender to project manage, design and fit out the front of house ‘Bistro Restaurant’ situated in the prestigious Town Hall. The Restaurant caters for both the councils employees and public alike and required a major face lift to encourage employees, visitors and public to dine in modern and comfortable surroundings and give a real alternative to outside catering establishments. Diamond installed Dining tables, dining chairs, high stools, glass screening with the councils logo and breakout furniture with built in power points for laptop and other electrical appliances. Diamond liaised with the Council in order to meet DDA Regulations making it a safe and accessible venue for all members of society. Since the opening in January the feedback has been excellent and has seen an upturn in business of 40% and visiting numbers have risen from 50 people a day to 200 making the project a major success.
