Wigan Skills Shop

The Wigan Skills Shop is revolutionary retail environment situated in the prestigious Grand Arcade Shopping Centre. It was essential both for the Shopping Centre and for the success of the Skills Shop itself that it was not seen as a dowdy ‘council’ space in contrast to the brightness and magnetism of its surroundings. The design of the Skills Shop was aimed  to give a powerful presence, sharing the high quality design values as its retail neighbours. The Skills Shop main role is to communicate the spirit of innovation and opportunity within the Wigan borough reaching out to both residents, potential employers and investors. Diamond Interiors supplied furniture to all areas including a bespoke reception counter and sales desks, interview rooms , staff room and function room.
